you know this probably sounds weird, but i learn the most of stuff in life during exams period. not because i revise a lot, well, seriously i dun learn much abt exams during exam period and i really starting to hate grades and paper oriented system.. HATE in uppercase jus to emphasize..

so today, i learnt to do things backwards.. and so, i watch the most movies during exams period. i admit, well.. need to take slack off, so today i watch this movie call “The Lookout”.. is about a guy who hit his head seriously in a car accident but didn’t die, he later have problem sequencing things. so is like he need to break everything into steps and to write them down before he can do it, like u give me a can of food, he lost his ability to find the can opener and so on. so the story goes by everyday, we woke up, shower with soap, eat breakfast blah blah blah, alright, the point about the movie is he learnt that by working backwards, he can get things done, or the sequence correct. like say the can story then, his objective is to open the can. by working backwards, he probably have to get the can opener, and more backwards, getting the can opener and backwards will be opening the drawer blah blah blah.. simple stuff we process everything like forward so simply, but subconsciously, we are actually getting things done backwards very quickly!! meaning, we process the backward process so quickly it look like forward..

hhmm. meaning, forward never works!~ we are never working forward, just backwards heading to a destination. cos when u walk “forward” u need to work backwards ie to have a destination to work forward! yea man!!! i manage to confuse u! =p.

alright, the last post i remember saying that either the sun or the earth is spoilt, i thing earth is really partially spoilt but i think the moon is starting to be spoilt too, shit man.. everything is breaking down around, erm, the solar system? damn bloody hot can. is like the moon is emitting heat sia!!! we can soon have moontanning man!!! eh cool leh!. like “HEY! What you doing there?”, “Moontanning, too suntanned, need some moontan on!” alright, total bullshit! but hey, staying in hall have a good u knw, i get to bath whenever i sweat.. like heck, save water campaign. i am so in love with icy water now la.. like not those drink kind but those used for bathing de? we may have to start installing aircon on the roads soon..

less than 48 hours to my last paper! LAST paper, but damnit, so many ppl finished their paper today or tml.. arg.. why computer engineers like always finish last de ah? hhmm actually got logic.. u knw wad? i think comp eng got the worse lecturer in ntu.. well, i did meet one or two rather good one, NOTE, one or two! probably one, whom i can feel his passion in teachin.. arg, well, the university here is not really a university la.

university is defined: “an educational institution designed for instruction, examination, or both, of students in many branches of advanced learning, conferring degrees in various faculties, and often embodying colleges and similar institutions” erm in dun knw wad dictionary mac use as default. interestingly and university is also a train or railway station in a few countries!
ah, i think the definition had being corrupted from the original meaning, in some encyclopedia it says university is a community of blah blah, ie usually note used alone, but generally a community of learnt where knowledge is shared, discussed and debated..

lookin at the university i am in and the things i am doing.. alright.. knowledge is shared to us in some damn lousy way, the prof discuss with themselve and wad debate? alright, i totally hates the way comp eng course is structured. my 1 year is coming to an end this wed. and i asked myself, wad had i learnt so far? i admit, i learnt quite a bit of stuff, academically and logically… but otherwise, i learn to force myself to memorize a lot of shit things that i confirm plus chop will not need it when i graduate. the course content does have a lot of useful stuff but is so restrictive, and the notes sucks like shit.. when i do tutorials right, i go google to find really more useful and easier to understand notes. jus imagine this, google much better than prof’s notes.. and labs that have completely no meaning to the course, or just say labs that is there to give you a feel of the intend of the course? crap la.. to me, labs is suppose to be where u use wad u learnt in lecture and tutorial to be put into practical use..

erm.. not labs where u only get like 5% chance to get things into practical use? and of cos labs with proper lab manual.. and much more proper system of management.. well, i do know there will be quite some ppl who will disagree to my point that some module sucks, cos they benefit from it academically by getting ‘A’ ma.. cos can memorise can le ma. dun need to understand de!

arg.. okie.. i m shitting a lot tonite.. arg.. bring more logic to my life!
and yea! lets’ work backwards.. i love my course!!! only hate the ppl powering it as lousily as they can. =p
